Konan Kouakou David

I was born in Ivory Coast in Zuénoula, the gouro family village in the center west of the country, in the Marahoué region. I learned dance since the age of 7 years old at the EDEC (Dance and Cultural Exchange School) in Abidjan, which was then the largest dance school of West Africa. I learned traditional african dances, classic ballet, jazz and contemporary dance.

Since 1997, I participated in several tours in Africa and Europe with the company « Les Guirivoires » directed by Rose-Marie Guiraud. I joined the Ivory Coast National Ballet in 2001.

From 2006, I teached african dance in the Studio Harmonic and at the Momboye Center in France (Paris), and moved to Japan in 2009.
